Alzonic Records, one of Africa’s most promising record company’s is owned by Liberian/Sierra Leonean born Musician ALONZO, whose dream is to see LIB/SL music fly up high. As a kid growing up on the streets of Africa, Alonzo’s love for music never ceased even though things were tough.

In 1999, after finishing secondary school, he deceided to hold on tight to music and started as a back up singer with a local band in Liberia. With encouragements from his late Father Mr.Benjamin S. Abasi, Alonzo was able to save some cash to pursue his musical dream. In 2002, he traveled to Nigeria, where he studied a course in IT at National Insatitute of Information Technology (NIIT).

During his stay in Nigeria, he met with so many renowned Nigerian musicians like, 2FACE, FEMI KUTI, RUGGED MAN,EEDRIS ABDULKARIM, and was able to learn a lot from their achievements. After his course, he decided to form his own Record Label but because there was no money to start the project, things couldn’t work out for him. He discussed the issue with his late father who lived in the USA, informing him that he intended to help promote talents from Liberia and Sierra Leone through ALZONIC.

After successfully convincing his dad, he was offered $1000.00 (a thousand US Dollars) to start running the company and that was the beginning of great things. The name ALZONIC was selected by Alonzo and one of his closest friends Paul Dadzie, who was appointed as the Manager of the Company.

ALZONIC RECORDS first aritist was the TRINITY RAP CREW from Liberia, who produced one of the greatest hits ”IN LIB”.

After a successful album with Kallboxx Records in 2007, Alonzo now has enough money to invest in his long time dream. With a state of the art Recording Studio to be opened in Liberia and Sierra Leone soon, ALZONIC RECORDS is bound to do bigger things in the lives of both Liberian and Sierra Leonean Music artists. We are also proud to have one of Africa’s most promising Rapper Die Young from the UK for in the ALZONIC family, and we urge music fans to watch out for this kid. Die Young has been one of the main brains behind ALZONIC RECORDS.
